Fair is fair...

I like for things to be in a balance. Maybe it is another OCD of mine! I just did a post on judging others. Now I am going on the other side of the fence and writing down what I admire in others. I always try to find something to admire in everyone - even in people I dislike.

  1. I admire people who can stand up for themselves. Over the past three years, I have had the chance to work with a few women who know how to demand respect and who stand up for themselves. I've learnt a lot from them.

  2. I admire men who respect their wives for their capabilities. I admire men who treat women as their equals. It is sad that I have to admire men for being the way they should be anyways, but seeing as how few of them there are, I admire those who stand apart.

  3. I admire parents who have more patience than I do :D

  4. I admire people who can say "I was wrong. I am sorry". It takes a lot of courage to do that.

  5. I admire people who stand up for others. It is very easy to defend your own rights but very difficult to stick your neck out for others.

  6. I admire those who can conduct an argument without yelling or uttering obscenities. It takes a lot of restraint I think :)

  7. I admire those who can stick to their convictions/opinions even if the whole world turns against them. It takes a special kind of perseverance.

  8. I admire parents who can accept their mistakes in front of their kids. I admire parents who help their kids be independent even if it means making an occasional wrong choice. Being a parent I know how tough it is to watch your kids make mistakes but I also know how important it is to give them the chance to do so and learn life's important lessons through them.

Now I tag my fellow judges to come on to this side of the fence and write about the people/traits they admire. MadMomma, Gauri, Kiran, Rohini, Tharini, Kodi's Mom, SS, Grail, Lumi, MintChutney, OJ, Boo, Poppins, Trishna, Itchingtowrite, ArtNavy, SM, Anisha, Orchid, Broom and HiphopGMom - Tag! You're ALL "it". Anyone else who wants to pick it up - please do!

  1. I agree completely with what you admire and what you judge! So, nope, I'm not going to do this tag.

And you were sayin'....?

What do you do with the leftover milk in your cereal bowl once the cereal is finished?

If you had a top that was too short to cover both - your cleavage and your midriff - what would you do?
